The latest thread I can find on this topic are over 6 months old so I thought I'd ask if anyone has experience with flying Spirit. I'm looking at taking the from MYR to DCA in a couple weeks...$98RT...couldn't believe it was so low its worth it for me to drive from CHS to MYR for that fare. Any feedback re: the airline would be great.

We fly Spirit all the time from Atlantic City to Myrtle Beach. If you book early, you can get a good rate.

I have flown Spirit Airlines out of Detroit several times. No problems at all. We were delayed once in Fort Myers for several hours and they gave each passenger a $100 voucher for future travel.

we got that same deal, $98 R/T (including all fees, taxes, etc.) for our MYR to DCA trip the last weekend in October. I too was surprised.
