No Patrick, I think everyone viewed this as a one-night honeymoon.
Maybe some of us remembered when we were broke, eloped, had only a short time for a honeymoon. Time and money matters not if you pick a great place to start a life together.
For me, I like to feel the sand beneath my toes and watch the sun go down and come up on a beautiful beach!!
I wish the young couple a very happy life together!!

Hello, everyone. Been too busy to post the past few days....my DD and soon-to-be-DS-in-law are indeed local(Bradenton and Port Charlotte). They are taking a honeymoon a bit later (DS-in-law has brand spanking new job they hadn't foreseen so have to wait a bit before an offical honeymoon (The week between Christmas and New Year's.)
So, this is just for the wedding night. Lots of family members from all over the country so other DD and I thought it'd be nice to furnish a place to spirit off to.
Great suggestions. Re: the B&B's...anyone ever stay in one around there?

Here's a link that has two B&Bs that I'd recommend. They are Islands End, which is a collection of cottages at the southern tip of Passe-A-Grille on St. Pete Beach, and the other is Bayboro House which is in downtown St. Petersburg on its bayfront. There are photos included. I'm going to google to see if I can find another place in Redington that I checked into a few years ago. It was so cute, waterfront cottages with a cozy hot tub/pool in a tropical center area.
