Special Night in Wine Country

Wondering about a sunday overnight- something under $200- very quiet- I am pregnant and need some rest- wanting to have a massage and yummy dinner- but don't need anything super fancy- good atmosphere- good fish or veggie options. If it helps, I love the ambiance of Casanova in Carmel. Am intirgued by St. Helena, which we've only driven through. Or Yountville.. Thanks!

Check out the Yountville Inn, the have specials in the fall months. When are you going? Bistro Jeanty is very good in Yountville for a great meal. www.yountvilleinn.com is the website. Have fun! ***kim***

I have to agree with Kim on the Yountville Inn call, especially for the price range you are looking for.

Also nice is Harvest Inn if you like St. Helena. Of the two, Harvest Inn is more serene (and more expensive) but Yountville Inn is more centralized to great restaurants (since my last visit I have become partial to Hurleys).

I think Kim made an excellent suggestion, too!

We've also stayed at the Harvest Inn in St. Helena. We booked under the Entertainment rate at 50% off. If you don't have the discount, the rooms are well over $200/night. You may want to check out the rates on the www.winecountry.com website for the Harvest Inn and see what they're offering. ***kim***
