Special hotel heip

Hi friends
As many of you may know I had a brain tumor resection in February and am undergoing chemo for most likely another month. Still, I am determined to get to my HS reunion the weekend of June 7. I am having a challenge in finding a hotel not too far from the HS that has an accessible bathroom and some sort of parking available. The HS is Fiorello LaGuardia HS. It is located on Amsterdam Ave (NYC) in the mid 60’s a bit north of Lincoln Center. Any suggestions?

The closest and cheapest is the West Side YMCA. If you are willing to go farther north, try the Riverside Tower on Riverside Dr @ 80th.

According to booking.com, the Lucerne and Beacon Hotels have accessible bathrooms, parking, and are fairly close to your target area.

I hope you make it to your reunion. I have such a great time at mine!

The Beacon has great suites, with kitchens. I’m happy to learn they have accessible rooms, too.
It's a great location, with a market across the street.

I think we will do the Fairfield Inn It are quite close to my school but most importantly, it will require the least Manhattan driving which DW hates. At this point in my recovery she will be the one driving. Reviews are mixed people either love it or hate it. They do have accessible rooms, parking and included breakfast is a plus.

I apologize in that I was remiss in not thanking those above for their thoughtful responses. I checked them all and the Lucerne is on my future bucket list.

I thought of the Fairfield Inn first, but the Marriott website stated only "hearing accessible rooms" and booking.com said no accessible rooms which I thought was strange.

I have absolutely no clue - but it fills me with great happiness that you are going to HS reunion and are able to be back asking travel questions.
