south padre island

how far from Houston and good choice for march 23-26?

It’s about 375 miles (6 hour drive time) from Houston to South Padre Island.

Whether or not the end of March is a good time to visit depends on what you want to do while there. It won’t be “swimming” weather.

I'll forever associate South Padre Island with spring breakers...it wasn't pretty.
