Sonoma Hotels and Inns

Planning a wine tasting trip to the Sonoma area. Have already done Napa and wanted to try this valley. Which are your favorite places to stay. Looking for upscale accomodations and beautiful surroundings. Thank you for your advice.

Hi claveygirl, we really enjoy the Sonoma Mission Inn. The service is first-class, the lobby area is gorgeous where you can enjoy wine tasting in the afternoon, robes, a great spa, a Mineral pool, two great restaurants have made this our first choice for lodging while visit the Sonoma area.

It is actully located in Boyes Hot Springs. About a five minute drive will put you in the midst of the Sonoma Plaza with all the great restaurants and shops. ***kim***

You might look into the Gaige House in Glen Ellen. Definitely upscale, in a small town and close to a number of wineries in the Sonoma Valley. There are a couple of very good restaurants in Glen Ellen also.

Check out Healdsburg and vacation rentals. Its more fun to stay in a home than a Hotel, and the price is the same. I can give you some suggestions if you want. [email protected]
