So I walked into a Restaurant...

In San Francisco last night and spotted.....Joan Baez! Yeah!!! She looks gorgeous, as always. But I see her around fairly often. The bigger treat was spotting....Yeah!! Yeah!!! StuDudley and Mrs. StuDudley.!!! Hurrah!!

Thanks to the photos from the GTG that were posted recently, I recognized them right away.

cabo, I understand..I know how you must have felt, I would have too. Although I am not sure what they look like but will go check now.

This should be a warning to anyone who does not want to be recognised by fans Don't let them take your photo at a
GTG...

Not in Fisherman's Wharf. At the opposite end of the city - almost in Daly City. On Church ST.

almost in Daly City. On Church ST.

Only a non-resident would say that.

Well Church Street does go out to 30th, which is getting to the Outer Mission. But it's not Daly City. And how do we know that? Because the sun was probably shining, which it rarely does in Daly City.

Went to the Legion of Honor yeterday (wonderful Annie Leibovitz exhibit) and ate a terrific Polish restaurant afterward, Old Krakow. Didn't see any celebs or Fodorites, but my goulash was fabulous!

I went to the Cinema theater for Opera! Peter Grimes, it was simultaneosly showing in movie theaters in the US and other countries, Britain and don't know where else.

It was great! For only $20 I had the best seat and a backstage tour of the Met in NY!!!!

Next weekend it's Tristan and Isolde, and I'm going.

After that, 2 more, and the season is over.

Live SF opera performances can be seen from the side sections of the nose-bleed area (said to have the best acoustics) for $15 on week days.

You should have told her that Robert E. Lee was never in Tennessee during the Civil War, making her song "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" to be historically incorrect.
