That said...............I just have to say:

THE SNOWCOVER IN COLORADO SO FAR IS THE BEST I'VE SEEN AT THIS TIME OF YEAR IN THE PAST TEN YEARS!!

Just had to get that off my chest.

I'm so jealous. The snow cover in WI and MI started off great between Thanksgiving and a week ago. We were looking forward to taking our XC skis along for our week's vacation with family. But now just grey, rain and dirty little piles are left...

Anyone for a movie??

I'm sitting here in Summit County (Colorado) and looking out my window watching it fall. You are so right. The mountain towns are wailing because they are having to have it hauled away (from parking lots). Glad I live here because the traffic on I-70 is horrendous.

Same problem here in Northwest Montana. Unusually warm and what snow we had is going fast from all the RAIN we've been having. Now praying to the snow Gods for help!!!

Actually saw snow on the peak of Nevado de Colima, Jalisco @ 4240 mts. outside of Ciudad Guzman on the way from SMdA to the beach @ Isla de Navidad last week. It was gone on the return yesterday.
