It's snowing here in Annapolis MD, the wind's picked up and the temperature has dropped - so maybe we do have a blizzard on the way. The grass and road are covered but it's probably about one (1) inch....

The temperature is dropping like crazy in Raleigh, and we have light rain that may turn into snow. AND just checked AccuWeather, and we *may* have a WHITE Christmas Eve and Day!!! How cool that would be!!!

Please send some snow to Northwest Montana. Looks like another green Christmas below 4000 feet.

It snowed in Huntsville, Alabama this morning for the 2nd time this week. Of course, our snow is only snowflaes falling from the sky--not even sticking to the ground. Nevertheless it is very beautiful! We just moved here from SW Florida, so it is a welcome change to us for the weather to actually FEEL like Christmas! (Though we do miss the sunshine...)

The snow this week was especailly fun, as it was my son's first time seeing snow...

Sun! Sun! Sun here in the SF Bay area today, with temps in the mid-60s. Prediction is that this will be the weather pattern all week! Yea!
But as a transplanted Richmond citizen, I'm a bit envious.

SNOW! Woke up this morning to 3 inches of snow and a 2 hour delay. My DH is using the snow blower the first time this season. BRRRRRR....it's cold - only 8 degrees at the moment (chattering teeth). The street still looks like a sheet of ice.

Have a safe day everyone. Oh and Scarlett, don't overheat in your sweater ~ lol

North of Boston on Sunday we had to listen to all-day "Winter Storm Advisories" from TV Meteorologists with way too much time on their hands and way too much coffee in their systems. Monday AM we have maybe a half inch of crackly snow - but enough to make commute insane.

I am in the North of Boston "storm" as well. Granted this may slow things at Logan a few moments, but if this were in March, it wouldn't even make the news. Channel five's "Storm Force" covering this is an oxymoron.

About one hour ago we got a phone call from our dear friends in Lake Placid, NY. They woke up this morning to 24 BELOW zero. We are so happy to not experience any longer such extreme temperatures in the Adirondacks. Here in Flat Rock, NC, this morning we had 12 degrees. Right now at 8:30 am the sun is out, winds are gone. It looks as we are going to have another beautiful day. No snow left on the ground.

2 hour school delay this morning and nothing on the roads here in central VA!!LOL In New Jersey (as a child) buses would have climbed the mountain on days like today!
Still it was nice to roll over and sleep a little longer.. too cold to get out of bed! This is the civilized world here! LOL.

Chicago has been frigid (what a surprise eh?). My parents found themselves under over 16 inches of snow this morning thanks to that lovely lake of ours (they live in northwest indiana). It is 'warming up' today to about 30F, but when I stuck my head out the door yesterday, it was 3F.

Gail and Doc - More snow here in Chelsea than at home in WN. Commute on Rt. 1 was hell. And it will all melt before Christmas so no White Christmas for us. But did you see that 80 car pile up in Pennsylvania. Ouch!! I'll take Rt.1 over that any day.

Bennnie..Hopefully no fatal injuries in that crash. Watching the game tonight? After listening to Pedro whine all week, some good Pats football will be a breath of fresh air.
