Bohemian Hall is a Slovak place in Astoria; there are also several Slovak social clubs in that area that may or may not serve food to the public. There still is a small Slovak community here in Manhattan on the Upper East Side but I think that it is more centered in Astoria Queens these days.

This article may be of some interest to you, although it does not answer your query about food.

Seetheworld - New York, I realized after I sent that I didn't include it in the message. Thank you everyone - I'll research the subway to Queens-Astoria and someone will have a wonderful meal.
