Skiing Jackson Hole

Headed to Jackson Hole the first week of March, 09. Never skied there. Any tips for restaurants, discount lift passes, best runs, etc.

Definitely hit Teton Thai for a delicious lunch or dinner. Not expensive. One of the nicer meals we had was Snake River Grill. Also Koshu Wine Bar was fun and more of a local place/favorite.

A native of Jackson - I can suggest Jed's house of Sourdough...good stuff. Also, Mountain High Pizza, for that pizza stop. Things have certainly changed over time - My favorites are still the Antler Hotel - a block off the main drag - only because I know the owner...lol. Skiing SNOW KING (in the heart of the city) is a very STEEP run. Not bad. Most people go to Teton Village.

If you head out to Teton Village (aka Jackson Hole Ski Resort) swing into the MANGY MOOSE - There is a restaurant AND a club. It is a MUST - I believe they have a new gondola there and there are many many runs. Spring snow conditions probably by that time...

Check jhguide.com - the local newspaper - you may find some smokin hot deals! Good Luck.

Mangy Moose is fun and good. I always like Sweetwater in town. I never miss Jedediah's House of sourdough. All delicious!

Jackson Hole is one H*** of a mountain.
