I would like to go sking anywhere in the northeast including Canada from Saturday November 20th to Wednesday November 24th. I want to spend as little as possible, what is important to me is all day advanced ski lessons. If anyone would know of any packages or promotions I would love to know about them. Thanks...

Skiing that early in the NE would have to be at an area that has lots of snowmaking and, then, only if it's been cold enough to blow enough snow to make the trip worthwhile. Check out Killington.com for early season packages. Be aware that most areas will have limited terrain open that early unless they are fortunate enough to get a big dump really soon.

Don't expect top to bottom skiing...you may have to download the lower lifts at the end of the day.

Last week there were pictures on the news of people skiing at Killington - man-made snow and have no idea of conditions. (They always run this story about first ski resort to open each year - for all I know it is the same tape from year to year!)

We are getting 3-5 inches of snow in Boston area today, but it is not expected to snow further north.

Sunday River in Maine is apparently open.

This early in the East, you're only going to find something at the big resorts with snowmaking, and you'll probably be stuck on manmade snow. How depressing - but, have fun anyway!
