ski destinations
My friends and I are planning a ski trip in March of 2003. Two of us are beginners. We plan to ski but also would like to be at a place with fun restaurants, nightlife (bars/clubs), and other activities. We are in our mid-twenties so don't really want to get stuck at a family oriented place.
Any suggestions would be helpful. I think we would like to stay West as opposed to East.
Thanks!

Another vote for Park City. Easy access since it's less than an hour's drive from a major airport -- Salt Lake. Lots of greens and groomed blue trails at 3 local resorts (Park City, Deer Valley and the Canyons). And, a cute town with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. Those are the reasons why our group always goes there.

If you want to ski in an all white environment, meaning white mountains and White people, then go to Vermont, the second Whitest State in the Union behind Maine.
Ski people like the white stuff and with 96% of their population white, Vermont is the place for you.
And to top it off, they even act like they like people of color, though they don't really know, not having been around any people of color for any amount of time.

To: vermont for the (White [email protected]).
You're absolutely wrong! The people in Vermont change color every fall.
