Ski Boots

I'll be in Vail next weekend for three days and was wondering what kind of boots are trendy right now for walking around the Village. Not actual ski boots (I'm not even bringing my own, just renting), but like Timberlands or whatever. Please help! Thanks!

In New Hampshire, where God made men, we like Teva sandals with flannel shirts for apres ski...

Thanks, Coskier. I haven't been in a snowy place in about five years, so I'm clueless about what to wear, although I suppose I could wear my hiking boots even though there will be no hiking in Vail. I've done plenty of hiking in Costa Rica and parts of the U.S., but my hiking boots aren't water-proof. I'm glad I was able to provide amusement and I'm also glad to see that the board hasn't changed all that much with registration.

Julia, we do hike year round...Your hiking boots will be just fine for the village, there is not really any snow on the walk ways. Really anything is fine. If you want to stand out as a tourist wear furry boots with a fur coat and either no hat or a fur hat.
