Shopping between Tampa and Lido Key
I will be flying into Tampa and driving to Lido Key. I would love to do some shopping along the way. Can you suggest any unique, quality ladies clothing shops? I am particularly interested in locally owned boutiques?
I would also like to rent a bicycle. Can you suggest a rental company and any off road rides in the area of Lido Key?
Thank you.

If you are driving from Tampa to Lido Key then you'll be passing some of the very best shopping at St Armands Circle. You have to drive around the circle to get to Lido Key. They carry unique and high quality clothing for women and usually things you won't find elsewhere. A good place to start would be "Dreamweaver".
Another good stopping point for great outlet shopping is Ellenton Prime Outlets just above Bradenton at Rt 301 and I-75. They do have a Dana Buchman store there and a number of others that I can't remember just now.
When you get to Lido you'll find places to rent bikes - I can't really help you there.
Enjoy Lido Key - when are you going?

You'll find all you can handle on St. Armands, but since you are interested in a unique boutique for women's clothing I highly recommend A'propos in Tampa. It's about five minutes away once you exit the airport. Here's the website which gives the address/phone #: http://www.apropos-tampa.com/
I go up there several times a year with friends. It's rather innocuous from the outside, but a real treat. They serve champagne, wait on you hand and foot and THE CLOTHES...they have it all and I love that they arrange their formal wear by color.
