Off topic, but have any of my fellow San Franciscans tried the gelateria on 22nd and Capp in the Mission? Yes, that Capp St, the one of hookers-and-gangbangers infamy.

It's GREAT! And, cheap. Or cheaper than the gelateria on 24th St. in Noe Valley in any case.

I'm trying to limit my visits so that I can fit in my clothes through the winter.

Its because Americans are so fat to begin with (present company included)that affordable gelato would create an health crisis of "immense proportions."
