Sedona Restaurant

We'll be visiting Sedona in late July with our 13-year old daughter. Any good restaurant recommendations? A relative mentioned Dahl & Diluca, but when I checked out the menu online, I think it may be a little too upscale for our teenager's tastes. Thanks for your help.

You all might like Picazzo's Pizza <www.picazzos.com>. It's not your ordinary pizza place.

I would not recommend Javelina Cantina. Having lived before in Colorado, Texas and California, I know good Mexican food...and this was only fair. There was more emphasis on quantity than quality.

We enjoyed the Oak Creek Brewery and Grill. Casual atmosphere, good food, varied menu, and great beer.

We enjoyed Mexican food at the Barking Frog - midscale prices and atmosphere, good food, great prickly pear margarita.

Our one big special dinner was at the Cowboy Club. We had the rattlesnake, buffalo, cactus fries appetizer. DH had a buffalo steak. I had a good beef steak. DD had a burger. Just saying I tried rattlesnake etc. is part of the fun!

Patsy Grimaldi's has delicious pizza! Be sure to stop at the Sugar Bowl across the street for dessert.

Kerry, those restaurants are in Scottsdale, not Sedona!

The restaurant at Enchantment is very good and the setting is beautiful. I don't think it's "too upscale" for a 13-year old. Sit out on the deck and enjoy the view!

Javelina's would be popular with a 13yo.
