Hi Melissa,
Actually, I have a friend from fodors who's a NY chef and she's coaching me through duplicating it via email. Gotta love modern technology! I came close to it last time, just one adjustment needed, I think. I had tried googling but couldn't find a recipe for anything close. This one had green chiles, rosemary, potatoes, corn, and roasted red peppers.

Whatever you decide to do, please refrain from Rene.....we have NEVER had service so poor. A group of 6 who were quite obviously "moneyed" were favored over the rest of the dining room. We sat for nearly 35 minutes without even a waiter to take a drink order. We are well-refined 40-somethings from Philly and travel much....with a great deal of patience - especially in restaurants - but this was beyond rude.
Again, I recommend Heartline Cafe!

That happened to me & my family recently too! We were dining at a local well known restaurant & the sommelier was too busy w/ a table of high rollers, that he never responded to our request for assistance. I was very insulted & if the food wasn't so delicious and the other service so wonferful I'd never go back!!

We just returned from Sedona, where we had 3 nights. We really liked Shugrue's Hillside Grill - great view, good food, great service and LIVE entertainment ! It was a most pleasant and attractive place. Heartline Cafe fell short of my expectations due to all the praise here on this board, and I did not think it was THAT great. Just nice.
One night we dined at L'Auberge and thought it to be a bit pretentious. We would have 'traded' it for Shugrue's in a heartbeat !!!!! Did not have a chance to try Rene's. Next time !

emd, I was going to write by this time, but had to take a "detour" and spend 3 days at the hospital. What some won't do to get out of housework !!!
All is under control and I'll report soon under a new heading. Sedona was absolutely spectacular. We loved it.

Thanks for the update jenny. Hope you are better now. I am in process of booking a house for a week in West Sedona btwn. Christmas and New Years. First time to rent there and haven't stayed for a week in awhile- really looking forward to those stars from the hot tub and hiking/biking every day.
