Seattle Wedding Night Hotel!!!

What downtown Seattle hotel would you pick and why for your wedding night hotel? Money is no object - I have a line of credit. I am thinking of the "W", which is currently sold out but I'll call anyway, or the Four Seasons, which is about to be sold to Fairmont, or the Edgewater.

Hi Dan, Congrats! I am staying at the Monaco for my wedding night in Aug. The W is nice as is the 4Seasons but the later is quite a bit older and certainly not hip.

We originally had a reservation for the Inn at the Market which is small but georgous.

The Edgewater is nice but it is also a bit older, although renovated. What style are you going for? Romantic, hip, fun, grand?

Monaco, because Kimpton does good work, Alexis for ambience and location (the Sultan of Brunei can't be wrong), Olympic for history and grandeur, Sorrento for old-world sophistication. The W is hip but the rooms are wee; the Edgewater only if you get a waterfront room, the Inn at the Market only if you get a water view room. The Hyatt isn't far behind.

For a wedding night, I'd go over to the Salish Lodge. It is so incredibly romanctic!

I LOVED the MONACO- very funky uptown Interior Design---colorful-different-boutiquey....

Great Lobby- great adjoining restaurant...

WHY?........... I LOVE hotels that are NOT the norm but are still elegant and funky at the same time- the Monaco was just that... ( I am an Interior Designer) and I always try MONACO hotels as they are different in each city..Owned by Kimpton Group out of San Franciso---You will love it here!
