Seattle: W Hotel or Four Seasons?

We are spending one night in Seattle late August. Have reserved Four Seasons Olympic.
Is the new W Hotel worth investigating?
Appreciate your opinion.
Thanks!

Actually, I like the Warwick better cause they offer free transportation around town. And, they are just as nice as those mentioned.

I would have to disagree. We recently stayed at the Warwick and were less than impressed with the service. As for the hotels, both are high quality. Four Seasons is the quality and service you would expect of a major hotel, but you might enjoy the W as well..it's a high end hotel but a bit more alternative in its approach with a great restaurant below. If you are curious to try something different,W is the choice..either way,you won't go wrong!

Have to disagree to with Pete. We stayed at the Warwick just 2 weeks ago and it was a wonderful experience. Our rooms were clean and comfy and the 24 hour downtown shuttle was very nice. We also walked next door to Assagios and had the most wonderful and romantic Italian dinner.
We stayed at the W about 3 months ago and it was not near as nice as the Warwick.

If you can afford the Four Seasons go for it. The Warwick is very nice but not in the same league; business colleagues of mine who've stayed at the W said it was nowhere near as comfortable as the Four Seasons, nor the Sheraton nor Westin for that matter. For what it's worth, you might consider ordering room service at the Four Seasons - the Wall St. Journal did a national comparison on room service offerings a couple of weeks ago and ranked the Seattle Four Seasons best of show.

thanks for all opinions. we will stay at Four Seasons (but will definitely take a look at W).
John, I did read the room service article in WSJ- if we order room service, I'll post!
