Seattle Kimpton
Hi! Booking a quick tow nights in Seattle, after a loooooong stressful week, so I want to be in the most comfortable and centrally located of the Kimpton's in Seattle. Anyone have any opinions about Alexis, Monaco or Vintage Park.

We have stayed at The Alexis twice; most recently in August. We love it. Great location and nice rooms.

I just looked at TripAdvisor. There are a couple of bad reviews and to be honest, I have to say I am VERY surprised. We have nothing but good things to say about the hotel. There is a great pastry shop around the corner that has excellent almond croissants: Belle Pastry @ Spring & Western Avenue

I much prefer the Alexis and the Monaco over the Vintage Park. I like the location of the Alexis just slightly more than the Monaco but I'd happily stay in either. Great locations in a wonderful city.
I love Kimpton hotels but was just not a fan of the Alexis. At all.

I've heard only good things about the Alexis. The used to have an excellent restaurant that we frequented (The Painted Table), but it closed long ago and I don't know what has replaced it.
I stayed at the Monaco when it first opened. It was carved out of an office building. The decor was flashy and the windows were tinted making our room gloomy. I believe I read that the decor was updated a couple years ago.

HTTY, The higher floors with even numberes have amazing views of the bay, the space needle, the mountains, the city at night. I have spent many a rainy day with a good book and those sterling views from the Crowne Plaza. Corner of 6th and Senica I believe.
