Seattle hotel/rental: Downtown v. other neighborhoods

Ray's is one of my favorite spots in Seattle. You have two dining options: the cafe upstairs, or the more formal restaurant downstairs. Both are excellent, but if you're concerned about budget, then go with the cafe. My favorite dish upstairs is the rockfish (and my parents also swear by the cioppino) and my favorite downstairs is the scallops. YUM.
