Seattle for 2 days

I'm planning a reunion trip for my sister and me, we don't spend nearly enough timwe together. We're bothin our 50s and plan to take the ferry from Victoria to Seattle and spend 2 nights either in the city or somewhere interesting nearby. Can anyone suggest a small hotel or inn that has a 2 room suite that we could share and can anyone suggest an itinerary. We both like to walk and like gardens and art.

peppr--You ask for a 2 room suite, but the Mayflower Park Hotel has about half of its rooms with 2 bathrooms, so that might work for you. If so, it is a great hotel right in a great location.

I'm here in Seattle, but sorry don't know which hotels have 2 room configurations available. I like the Mayflower Park mentioned above.

For a walking tour of downtown, simply start in Pioneer Square historic district, maybe include Chinatown, then head up to the downtown core. To the north of downtown you can to go the Seattle Center and the new sculpture garden along the waterfront.

At Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill there is a nice Victorian conversatory filled with amazing plants, and the Asian branch of the Seattle Art Museum. There's cafes and shops nearby on 15th Avenue East to have lunch.
