Seattle airport hotels
HI all. We need a hotel near the Seattle airport. We'll be coming off a cruise at around 8am - 10am, but don't fly home until the next morning. I'd prefer a hotel with a pool and airport shuttle.
I'm not sure what we're going to do the day we disembark. I understand there's a water park nearby - my kids love those. If the weather cooperates, that would be great.
If not, any suggestions?

There's really not much down by SeaTac airport. Just an large ugly industrial area and the "usual suspects" of hotel chains.
Are you sure you wouldn't rather stay in downtown Seattle? There's certainly a lot more to see and do than out by the airport.

Yes, I believe it's WildWaves. I'm looking for next year, early July.
We are flying out relatively early 9am and 10am. My husband is flying on a different flight than me and my 2 kids (it's what we could get with FF tix). So that's why we're not staying downtown.

About 15 min from the airport is an Embassy Suites in Renton. There is also a water park called Henry Moses Aquatic Center in Renton just a few minutes from the hotel. It's smaller than Wild Waves, but my daughter always has a great time there because it's less crowded and less hectic. There's a great tube slide, wave pool, water shooter things, perfect for middle schoolers and younger.

I live in Seattle and always take a taxi to SeaTac for early morning flights (often flying 7:00am or earlier). It's very straight-forward about 20-25 mins cab ride.
But I think the post above sounds maybe more like what you had in mind.

The TripAdvisor folks seem to like Sleep Inn, but they also like the Sleep Inn in Scottsdale where I once spent a sleepless night: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Rev...ashington.html
