Seafair in Seattle
I'll be in Seattle for the Sunday events of Seafair. I didn't plan on going, but thought it might be nice to see a little of the action while I'm there.
Does anyone know of a good place to watch some of the events for free? (I can't justify spending $50 on tickets when this is not one of the reasons why we're going to Seattle).

You can watch the Blue Angels from many spots/parks around the city for free, you can also go to the I90 floating bridge to watch them. The hydros can't really be seen unless you are on a boat. Argosy Cruises has day trips. There is also the torchlight parade which doesn't cost money

You can't miss the Blue Angels if they are flying. Stand anywhere in town when you hear the awful noise and look up!
When there are hydroplane races people go down to Madrona and Leshi on Lake Washington to watch.
The Torchlight Parade as mentioned above, downtown.
Sorry don't know any dates because as a local I run in fear and dread from all things Seafair ;-)
