Sea Island/Cloisters for T-giving
Am thinking about a family Thanksgiving here or somewhere nearby for two families with small children. Is it too cold to swim at this time? Any other amenities for families?

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to go. You should have nice weather and it's the tail end of hurricane season, so storms are not usually a problem.
The Atlantic Ocean is never "freezing" like the Pacific Ocean. I think your children will be just fine.

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to go to Sea Island. It may or may not be too cold to swim. The kids probably won't mind swimming in Nov. unless it's unseasonably cold. Sea Island has lots of special activities at the holidays. SI has lots of things for families to do. This is a much better idea than Orlando.
