Can someone tell me what this show is like? We're trying to decide between this and stand-up comedy.

They're an energetic family of entertainers...kinda old fashioned...lots of comedy thrown in with music for all generations.....think Frank Sinatra's kids putting on a show in the barn if Sinatra's kids had more talent and personality.

P.S.....this site has COUPONS (you have to pay for them, though) and I think I saw 2 for 1 Scintas tickets offered, a great deal.

I went to the Scintas last summer with my wife and 21 year old son. We loved it. It is no Mystere, O, or the like but it is very good variety entertainment. We signed up for a Harrahs card and got 2 for 1 and they honored for the third person as well (50% off for everybody). At the same time we got buffet discount coupons too.

At the price, perhaps you can do both. There are usually some coupons around for the Comedy places. Look into the Comedy Stop at the Tropicana.

A small "gratutity" to the maitre D' will get you a front center seat

We were front & center without the gratuity to the Matre'D! (Right next to the stage set up for the lead guy to come closer to the audience).
Cheesy but good! Very friendly folks..."we try harder" types! They give you photo ops after the show! OSB.
