Oh, thank you, DLN! Those photos on that website are lovely; I've just added the site to my "Favorites"!!

Landsakes! I'd love to meet Miss Scarlett in Savannah or anywhere! She'd be a hoot, as she is wont to say!!

Miss Scarlett, you photos are GAWJUS, btw ~ just beautiful. Thank you for sharing them!!

<<this trip came up very quickly and we had about a day to plan it>>
How exciting! But then you always were so good at planning something, even at the last minute. And thank you for the link you posted, also; that one goes to the Favorites list as well!!

What a nice thread this has been. I long for sultry, sweet, slow Savannah now.

Awww ~ Thank you Beatchick

I would really look in to the Westin when thinking of visiting Savannah . It is in such a great spot with amazing views and I find nothing wrong with a new luxury hotel~
They also have nice 2 night packages where you get 20% off your room rate.

I look forward to a fall trip, so we can spend more time walking the old house tours.

Ooooh, thanks for the tip! Anything with a good view!

I was looking at some of those walks. I'd love to try the Ghost Talk Ghost Walk tour. Sounds mega-intriguing, spooky-scary!! And the houses tour! And the carriage ride! All sounds like fun - very suthun.
