Sadly, STW, I've already been out almost three weeks! With virtually nothing to show for it.

I'm off to the grocery store for Dill Pickle Potato chips and ho-hos.

I'm in the mood for my favorite food groups; Lard, white flour, processed sugar, and salt.

GoTravel, you remind me of one of my college roommates. I spent a week with her just week before last and she is skinny as a rail. But, while we were together, she put away the beer and other junk food!!

And Mr.GoTravel would KILL me right now if he knew I was scarfing down ho-hos and dill pickle chips.

I can hear him now, "while you are training for this marathon every single thing you eat has to matter.....".

What I eat really does effect (or is it affect? I can never figure the two out) my running performance. Just one last fling before I really get into the core training.

"Special Effects" It's a noun.

Affect is the verb. FYI

Woo-hoo! I'm not a loser THIS Saturday night. I decided to stay in town instead of driving back and forth this weekend. Well, I check in and the guy says with a smile... "I think you will like your room".

I do a double take at the sign at the door. I'm in a suite! Have no idea why. I asked if I could be upgraded to the club floor but he said the hotel was almost full and he couldn't. But, he puts me in a dang suite!!!

I came back to the room about an hour ago - but just walked into the "dining room area" and there's a platter of cookies and chips with sodas and water. Oh, yeah, a personalized letter.

I'm just shaking my head - but I won the hotel room lottery THIS time. It's not my preferred hotel chain.

I may be switching affliation!

No, sir. Not a loser THIS Saturday night.

Hello! Loser here....

It has been raining here on LI steadily with more to come tomorrow. I had nothing to do today so I watched the foodnetwork and decided to make an Italian dinner tonight....now I am watching my DH ass sink further into the couch and I am going to rent Last Holiday on IO.

I also drank a bottle of red wine myself (Coppola, not bad)...and had 2 Scooby doo push up pops and an Incredibles Ice cream cone. Oh yeah did I mention I am sitting here in an oversized Minnie Mouse Tee shirt??

Thank god for laptops because I am way too much of a loser to even go to my main computer.

We did go out last though

GoTravel you are not a loser...you are just busy!

Careful starrsville. Smilin' guys tellin' you you'll like your room might have ulterior motives.

Oh my starrsville. I didn't realize you were at the GTG with KYbourbon and her daughter. Lies, lies they tell all lies.

I hope you had a great GTG. I actually met KY's DD at a GTG before I met her. What fun people. We're shooting for a GTG in July.

Ok, add me to the loser list and take off Starrsville. Noone who rates a suite w/cookies and a note from Santa can count when I'm already home after a night out

We went to a bbq place with our neighbors to get some ribs and hear a little music. We'll the neighbors ended up bringing their normally well behaved and adorable 18mo. old, there was no music (too early) and the kid screamed the entire ride home. Dinner was yummy though. Yes, we were home by 8pm a time I used to be first thinking about getting ready to go out!! Am I an old loser?

Aloha fellow losers! Due to the time zone difference between Hawaii and the rest of the world, I had to start early this week. By the time I got to the thread last week, you were all passed out..Not fair! So I'm sitting here drinking a cup (styrofoam cup, still legal in Hawaii) of Peter Vella's box wine "Delicious Red", a nice April vintage comparable to any fine Laotian wine, playing "Anita Ward's Greatest Hit" cd (You can ring my be-ee-ell, ring my bell, my bell, ring a ling) over and over and over again, that girl had talent with a capital T. Eating Beef-A-Roni out of the can, Hostess Sno-Balls for desert, like to peel off the coating, roll it in little balls, makes me think there's more than there really are. The DC's are watching the tropical fish video on the 42" big screen t.v. The DD is on the porch suffering from an extreme case of the dog farts, so cute the way she looks behind her when she lets one go!

I'd like to nominate jetset1 for "Loser of the Week" as she has 32 posts on the "Fodors Convention 2007" thread! 32 and still going! (though I'd think that makes me a bigger loser by counting other peoples posts, but hey, my "Sudoku for Beginners" is finally finished!) Great sense of humor that girl has though, would love to see her and Degas do a duet at the convention!

Well the sun's still shining here so I think I'll start getting ready for the big "Coqui Frog Hunt" tonight. Flashlight- check. Big stick to poke the frogs- check. Gloves so I don't have to touch them- check. Cup to put the frogs in- check all set!
Have a great week-end! you can ring my be-ee-ell, ring my bell..

I'm supposed to put on my dancing shoes and head out in a little bit. I think I'm getting too old for this. OWJ, I may get back on the L list if I cancel. That will make me an official "old fogie" - or SNL in this case!

I am feeling sooo much better.
A. BuffaloGirl and the infomercials. B.Jetset1 has posted 32 times on the GTG thread.
C.matink...has counted her posts.
D. Pushy has not checked in with his outfit du jour, but we know it will be a goodie.
As to the Dancing with Dogs...if I EVER put my dog and me in matching costumes (the red tutus were special) just shoot me. Loser emeritus.
