Here comes another vague response from me.... but maybe it will jog someone's memory. About two or three weeks ago there was an article somewhere...it had to be a national publication...NYT? a magazine? I am trying to recall.. But anyway it told all about how to get tickets to SNL, and the nightly talk shows, too. It isn't completely impossible, but it sounded more difficult than most people would find appealing.
I'll see it if comes to me.

I won two tickets to SNL for the March 24th show. I entered the SNL ticket lottery by e-mailing [email protected] several months ago. A couple of my friends had also entered the lottery but did not get the tickets.... so I think it is a true lottery. But perhaps you can try your luck too?
I wanted to give the 2 tkts to a good friend who just got married & is a huge SNL fan but one of the conditions is that the person who wins is required to attend & is allowed to bring one guest.

Getting tickets to the late night shows is relatively easy (but realize they tape during the day - not at night).
Tickets for SNL are prcatically impossible since it tapes only once per week - and even then not year round.
The web site has the info on how to get tickets. And this is the only way unless you KNOW someone or ARE on the list - in which case you wouldn;t be here.
