Saturday night in NYC

There are about 1001 things for four 20-somethings to do on a Saturday night in NYC. In addition to theatre, there are great movies that may not be showing in your hometown, there is live music at lots of venues from hotel bar to Carnegie Hall, there is fine or fun dining (often an evening unto itself) at about a gazillion different places (for four, why not try one of those Brazilian places like Churrascaria Plataforma), there is even bowling at 3 locations in the city.
Pick up a copy of Time Out New York magazine for listings of all kinds of fun things to see and do.

Sometimes the museums are open later on certain days (not sure about Saturday evenings) and will often offer music and light refreshments. I would check the website of the Met, Guggenheim, the Rose Center at the Planetarium, etc.
What about going up the Empire State Building at night? Going out for a special meal? Evening Boat Cruise (you didn't say when you would be going - obviously you don't want to cruse in the cold & snow) if you are going around the holidays what about a holiday concert? How about an evening tour of the city? Skating at Rock Center? Dinner at the French Culinary Institute? . . .let us know when you will be in the city so we can offer more ideas.
