I am in South Texas.

For the Uber, do I need to download an app?

I googled an estimate with Uber and it says $75-$99.

Could it be right?

Yes, you do need the Uber app. However, do a web search for first time user promo codes. They are out there.

An estimate of $75-$99 is not unreasonable, given the distance.

Consider Lyft (another app-based ride share service), too. Lyft is more generous with first-time rider credits. I have been offered a $50 credit many times.

We much prefer Sanford airport to the International airport. It is less crowded and simple, pick up your luggage and step out to the car rental. If you get a car just head for I-4 and its a straight road to Lake Buena Vista. Taxis are at the door too. Dont know about current road works though on I-4 as mentioned.

It all depends on time and traffic. Sometimes 417 is better.

Did you have trouble cancelling? My brother booked with them when my Dad was dying and he spent hours trying to change his flight. He gave up and booked a new one after he passed. You can't get a human.

Allegiant has had some bad press here lately. Long delays and broken planes. I have flown them twice because they had a flight to Plattsburg, NY but now just take jet blue to Albany from Orlando. Same driving distance. We liked it because it was straight through but now Jet Blue has started this flight so am happy.

As a matter of fact, I did not cancel because I waited for an hour and a half on the phone trying to talk to a human. My flight is in two days and still debating on going. My plans are to get to Brandon or Seffner and the Uber estimate according to Google is $75-99. Which is not bad for the distance and the fact that I don't have to drive
