I'm looking for hotel in San Francisco. I'M
debating between Stratford Hotel, a C-Two Hotel or Grosvenor Suites. Any suggestions?

The location is the most important consideration in selecting a hotel in SF.

Avoid the Tenderloin at all costs. My preference is also to avoid Union Square and Fisherman's Wharf even though these are the most popular tourist areas.

The yuppiest area is Noe Valley and the most interesting neighborhood is the Haight. There are small hotels in both those neighborhoods that I would choose over the mega tourist hotels in Union Square and Fisherman's Wharf.
