San Fran: need a great earring store

Need advice for a great earring store in San Fran. Not super expensive gold/silver, traditional jewelry store. Like interesting, funky, colorful. $50ish price range. If you are familiar with Rumours in New Orleans-something like that. I like "Barb wire," "Leni Singerman & Terry Post,"--used to buy lots of TKOs but they seem to have gone out of business.
Thanks.

I'm sorry that I can't tell you the names of these stores, I only know them by sight. There are two unique earring stores in Noe Valley, I go there all the time. They're both very small, but make good use of space. They get new stuff in all the time--I went once and was disappointed, but the next time I went I found lots of stuff.

Usually collectors go to street fairs for those. Are you visiting? Look up fairs and festivals on sfgate.com

Hi Bat, the Noe Valley shopping area is just one street and it's actually not that long. One earring place is on the right, the other is up the hill and to the left. Dang, I can see it in my head!! But seriously....you can walk the shopping area pretty quickly with lots of time to spare so you can explore Union Street or Hayes. The bus goes straight up there, too.
