San Diego Seafood Quest

The final countdown is on to my San Diego
destination. Can anyone recommend the freshest best seafood restaurants in that region? I am restricted on my diet and must stay away from fried foods, so any place with a variety of grilled or broiled on the menu would be most desirable. Thanks again to all of you for having helped in the past.

For fresh lobster, you could cross over the border and head down to Puerto Nuevo for an inexpensive dinner.

The freshest seafood restaurants are the Fish Market on Harbor Drive or The Fishery on Cass St in Pacific Beach.

most places have fresh seafood and very few places fry here. otherplaces not mentioned are Zenbu in La Jolla, Sally's by the Hyatt, Marine Room, George's at the Cove. How about sushi places the best is Sushi Ota in Mission Bay. Point Loma seafoods has very fresh fish but they do have a bunch of fried foods. It's not really a restaurant though more of a huge fishmarket where food can be ordered.

I would definitely NOT rec Tom Ham's...more of a tourist spot and food is not good. Point Loma Seafood's has the best fresh fish in town. Very casual, but worth a visit. Also the Fishery in Pacific Beach and Saska's for sushi in Mission Beach.
