San Diego Public Golf couse
Me & my family will be in Southern Ca at the end of June & early July. Is there any nice & easy public golf couse nearby San Diego Seaworld area. I say Seaworld because I will drop my family off there in the morning then play a round then pick them up later. I am a beginner golfer and want to play some easy golf couse.

San Diego has three public golf courses: Torrey Pines, which is not near Sea World, is expensive and not easy; Mission Bay, which is probably the closest; and Balboa Park. I have no idea about the level of difficulty of the last two.

Barbara,
You are great even send me a link. Thank you so much. I did some research and I find out there is a golf course at Coronado which I think it is not too far Sea World.

I remember couple of years ago I was there at that beautiful beach next to Hotel Coronado. I found out this golf course is very inexpensive and I may want to try out. Thank you so much.

HI..
Being an avid golfer in SD, I agree with Barbara about Coronado Golf Course..it is flat and easy for beginners and it is quite scenic too..
I was going to suggest Torrey Pines or Tecolote Canyon but they are not for beginners.. there is also Riverwalk in Mission Valley that is pretty easy too and it is about 5 minutes from Seaworld off of HI-8..
Have fun and see if you can get a tee time but things book up really quickly during the summer months..
Have a blast!

Coronado is great - especially at their green fee rates!
And about Coronado being easy - well basically yes, but if a breeze comes in, I have a slightly different outlook on the issue. But it is even more fun in that instance.

Hi everyone. I am from eastern Canada. We used to spend our Spring vacation in Myrtle Beach but this year we would like to explore southern California in the san Diego area. We plan to stay 4 weeks on or near a golf course to avoid traffic cause we are 3 seniors. Since we play 3 or 4 rounds a week our budget does not allow us to play expensive courses. 30-45$ with cart would be OK. As for condo, we would prefer to stay in a 2 bedrooms which has all the commodities. So if one can help i would be gratefull...
