San Diego - Hyatt or Marriott

Which hotel would you choose... Manchester Grand Hyatt or Marriott Marina? Thanks!

Whichever one gave me the better deal for a great room.

They are so similar, great location next door to each other in front of the Seaport, spitting distance to convention center, Gaslamp District, Petco Park, and to Horton Plaza, it is really the flip of a coin.

I stayed at the Hyatt and LOVED to hotel but would have been very happy with the Marriott.

I have stayed at the Manchester Grand Hyatt many times and can't bring myself to go anywhere else. If you don't stay there you must go to the top of the Hyatt for a great view of the city.

The Grand Hyatt has better rooms than the Marriott Marina, but the swimming pool in the Marriott is a lot more attractive/social than the Hyatt's boring rectangle pool.
