Thanks for your help and I'll be sure to post my thoughts on the new historic cottages at Tween Waters.
We're deciding now if we want to make it all in one drive from Savannah or stop off midway or so.
I think we may just play it by ear and see what we feel like that day, but maybe reserve a mid point stopover place that we could cancel same day without penalty.

My husband & I spent a week this past February in one of the historic cottages and we LOVED it. Very romantic and peaceful. You even have your own fireplace! We could watch the sun set from our own screened in porch or just cross the street and sit on the most beautiful beach you'll ever want to see. The restaurant at Tween Waters was also excellent. Have a great time.
