Have you seen the resort fees attached to all these properties? This adds on from $25-$45 daily!!! Its a sly way to increase the cost but hide it in the fine print until you check out and then surprise!!!

Good point, mssav. The resort fees were listed in the special description and would be applied to rates with or without the special. So when I was comparing the cost of the Rock Resorts in Vail and Aspen with other hotels I added in the fees. In some cases the Rock Resorts were still dramatically lower than similar properties in other cases, not so much. It pays to read the details of any special offer.
