Rockettes

Is the Rockettes Christmas show worth going to with kids? And what is the best place to get tickets? Off of their website or one of the other ticket places?

In my opinion a 2-3yr old and a 5-6yr old are a bit young to really enjoy the Rockettes Christmas show.

Not sure how old your kids are.

A 5/6 year old is certainly old enough for the show - started going to their shows at that age. A 2/3 year old might be too young to sit still for that long - depends on their attention span and maturity.

My folks took me (while on a trip to NYC from California) when I was 10 years old. I LOVED it, remember it vividly to this day!

The Radio City Xmas spectacular is much more than the Rockettes. It's a great show for adults and kids alike, but if the kids are too young, may not be a good idea. The show is 90 mins. long. For younger kids, you might look at the Big Apple Circus and newvictory.org

There may be discount codes on tickets on broadwaybox.com or seasonofsavings.com I've also heard there can be discounts found at the TKTS booth.

I took our kids to this show when they were 4 and 7. They loved it as much as I did. The 4 rd old at the time was always very fidgety, but he sat through this show absolutely mesmerized. So definitely take the kids and enjoy

It's a very well done show for kids and adults. My kids (boys) saw it in their early teens and loved it.

We haven't seen it for many years and I would like to see it again.

If you have young children, go to the matinees.

It is magical. I've loved it every single time I've seen the show.

My husband just surprised me with tickets for the family yesterday. We went and it is really a very well done production. The scale of it is amazing. And there is a ton there for kids to watch and it really moves along, it never drags.

We went with my 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son and they were wonderful. They have a high attention span though. Do your kids sit through movies well? If so, then they will do great at this.

It was at Joe Louis arena where the Redwings play, so before the show started my son thought we were going to see a hockey game. Then when anyone would leave the stage, he'd ask where they were going and we kept telling him they were going to the locker room.
