Maybe a politically savvy 13 year old. I suspect there's a lot kids just wouldn't get - I was at a performance in Anchorage last week, I see no indication that their regular weekend shows in D.C. are any different than their traveling show, according to their website.
I seem to recall that ads I saw up here MIGHT have warned of mature content, but I don't really recall anything TOO bad - then again, I'm not a mother. I just think kids wouldn't get it - and honestly, I don't actually recall seeing any kids in the audience except maybe some late teens - and it was a full house.
So, 13-year old, depends on the kid, I guess. Adults? Wow, it was HYSTERICAL!!!!

If the 13 year old is politically sophisticated and knowledgeable (yes - some are - but not most) he/she would enjoy it. Otheriwse most of it would be over his/her head - and I would think really boring.
