Ritz vs. Jw. vs. Grand cypress

I took my 3 kids to grand cypress last june and we loved it. We are going to orlando again and I am torn where to go.. The ritz and JW look very nice..ritz is more pricey..598.00 for 2 rooms plus breakfast..how does that sound?
Any input welcome...my kids are 2,9 and 12..and taking 76 year old grandmother.

I stayed at the Ritz in Orlando last April. It was wonderful, but since I was in a wedding, I didn't have a lot of time for the experience. The JW property adjoins the Ritz, and also looked very nice. The JW has a great pool for the kids, while the Ritz's pool is more adult oriented. I don't know about the JW's rooms, but I'm sure they are nice. There is a spa at the Ritz, between it and the JW.

We stayed at Ritz in November. We loved it, a little boring for kids. Went over to t JW for lazy river pool
it was very lazy most of the time you had to push off bottom to keep moving.JW had things for kids to do, movies some nites, and smores making around a firepit. Both hotels
are gorgeous. I haven't stayed at Grand Cypress but they may have more for kids depending what you are
looking for. My kids were 11 & 13. There is
a small gameroom at JW. To save $ the
JW rooms are supposed to be pretty nice. The only differnce I noticed was service was much better at ritz. The grounds are connected and you are allowed
to use both facilities regardless which hotel you stay at. We had club level with golf package around 429 a nite. Club room at Ritz worth it.

We also think the club level at the Ritz is well worth it - but you may need two rooms nonetheless - which depending on the time of year could be pricey - but you can get rooms without the golf course view which are cheaper.

The major benefit to the Hyatt Grand Cyprus is that it has a lot to do for the older kids:

bike trails
nature walks
lake with paddle boats
game room
kids pool with waterfalls and rope bridges

Other than that is a fairly basic Hyatt - more similar to the JW than to the Ritz.
