Ride the Ducks...in the rain?

Ride the Ducks seems like a fun way to sightsee. Has anyone done this? Is it still enjoyable if the weather is less than perfect? We are planning to do this in Seattle and it looks like it will be a (surprise) rainy day.
Thanks!

I've ridden the duck. It's a little corny, but you do get to see quite a bit of the city. Not a bad way to cover quite a bit in 2 hours. It's fine if it's raining, the ducks are covered.

BTW, it's beautiful and sunny in Seattle right now.

When we went to DC we really wanted to do this but "missed the boat", they book pretty fast.....so, when we went to Seattle we did it. It "is" corny as previous poster said, but it is SO FUN!! I loved it and so did the DH. I have to tell you there was one part of it in the very beginning that was so funny to me. We were going down a street that was a pretty good sized hill (almost like a San Fran hill) and the driver played this music "rollercoaster" by the RHCP (I think) and we all had to put our hands in the air (driver included) and we go flying down this hill through an intersection and I just remember the faces on the people in the first car waiting at the traffic light to go the opposite way....HILARIOUS!!!! It still makes me laugh today just thinking about it. We had so much fun, that if we go back with our kids we want to do it again and will probably do the duck tour in other cities (if they have them). The one is Seattle goes way away from the tourist area and it was a fun, relaxing way to see the town. I think it sprinkled a bit when we went as well, I believe they have plastic covers that come down if it is really raining! Have fun, it's great!!!

Thanks for the replies - I never noticed the plastic covers for the sides of the "Duck". That makes me feel better!
Thanks!

The duck vehicles are covered with a canopy kind of arrangement.

Think like a native & don't believe the weather reports... it's sunny as can be at the moment (3:30pm 4/4)
