Restaurants near Don CeSar Resort

We are staying 5 days/4nights in May at Don CeSar Resort and looking for recommendations for where to eat and what to see. Thanks in advance for your help.

Sea Critters, 2007 Pass-a-Grille Way.

They are open for lunch and dinner.

Very close to the hotel.

A casual place south of the Don is the Hurricane which is right on the beach.

Thank you, IamBooth and coldwar27. We'll give these a try. Has anyone tried the restaurants in the hotel?

It has been a couple of years ago, but I used to like breakfast outside in the morning at the Don. I stayed just down the beach, and would walk to the Don for a relaxing meal in the morning.

I like to eat at Leverocks for seafood. It isn't walking distance, but it's a great seafood place. It is probably a mile from the Don, along the intercoastal waterway, on Corey Ave, right at the causeway bridge.

I also like Shells (located along the beach at one of the hotels... maybe a Quality Inn????) They have fantasic clam chowder. You could walk there, but it's a long walk. I think there is a beach trolley??? Someone may know about this. I always have a rental car so I just drive everywhere.

I have only been to wedding receptions at the hotel but that food was good. I hope you have a great trip!

There are a few restaurants in the Don. We ate lunch a few times at the one with tables out near the beach. Very excellent!
