Grenada is fabulous so have a fantastic time!! Beach bars - I don' remember there being a lot of them as there are several hotels...but at the end you are at is the Flamboyant hotel that I stayed in and there was a (I think still is but refurbished after Ivan) a restaurant and bar on the beach and after arrivign we headed straight there....waves, shade warm ocean breezes with Pina Coladas (mine a virgin as I was 6 months preg.).... Mariposa had a GREAT happy hour at their pool bar that gets FANTATIC sunsets....during happy hour....the pool is (I hope still is...) GREAT and good food there at a good price...
I think that Blue Horizons has a bar too.... by the pool thought...but nice...GEM has a nightclub near them - there are at the beach around the corner on Morne Rouge beach - walking distance...even for me at 6 mos. preg. and there is a GREAT pizza restuarant about a 4 min. walk up the road toward the main road...and another restaurant at the corner...sorry names are forgotten...A great spot for burgers, fries, pizza and ice cream across the street from Grenada Grand beach resort which is a close walk via beach or street....
I hope this is helpful...sorry about lack of names but really I am trying to impress to you you are in a great spot with lots to eat and drink....Have fun! TRIP REPORT please!!

On the left end as you face the beach (back to the water), Coconuts (restaurant on Grand Anse beach) has a nice and jovial beach bar.
We always meet lots of interesting locals and tourists there. Sit in at the bar or at a table out on the sand.
(Food is great there too.)
All the way at the other end on the right there is a beach bar below the Flamboyant that hops. Both would cover what you are looking for.
Cot Bam - the quintessential Caribbean beach bar - was destroyed by a storm a few years back.
Spice Island (very upper-end) usually has a steel band or some kind of live entertainment. The last time I stayed there they were kind of picky about non-guests on property, so check before going.

there is a bar at Flamboyant Hotel on the beach, I think it's called Night Owl that is with in walking distance from Blue Horizons and is very lively and is open late. You can also open an account as Blue Horizons guest at Spice Island resort to charge your drinks there. Coconuts nice but not with in walking distance, especially at night.

Just want to echo what has already been said--Coconut Beach on the end of Grand Anse closer to St. George's has tables and thatched umbrellas out on the sand for casual dining, or you can dine inside (but still open air) for something a bit less casual for the evenings. We found the food for our one meal there to be quite solid, and the rum punch was really good.
As a Blue Horizons guest, I believe you get a 10% discount on food & drink at Spice Island, and this is well worth taking advantage of in my opinion. Great food, great atmosphere, but quite elegant. Not informal.
The Flamboyant's facilities are also within easy walking distance of BH.
Morne Rouge is walkable, but it's a bit farther away than Spice or Flamboyant. Probably around the same distance away as Coconut Beach. On that beach you have the Sur la Mer restaurant at the Gem Holiday Beach Resort, which has a good reputation.
