Restaurants in SF

In SF for 2 nights and am looking into restaurants... There are so many! Could anyone help me narrow it down to a few great ones? We are looking for a really good seafood place, also like Italian. Also looking to spend anywhere from $15 to $30 or so per entree. Thanks!

Price range info is helpful-- but how about neighborhood? Also, be aware that you can't swing a lobster around without hitting a seafood and/or Italian restaurant in San Francisco-- it's a little like parking yourself in the middle of Tokyo and asking for a good ramen restaurant.

Staying near Union Square. Probably won't spend too much time at the wharf...from what I have read here is that's its really touristy and cheesy.
So as far as neighborhoods.. union sq. or north beach.
Anyone ever eaten at Kuleto's? Thinking of going there.

L'Osteria del Forno was one of my favorites and also Thep Phanom (Thai) in the Height was really good.

Seafood, in no particular order: Farallon, Aqua, Hayes Street Grill, Plouf, Pacific Cafe; or how about Italian seafood place; Pesce.
