Restaurant walkable to Ford's Theater

Any suggestions for dinner before the show this weekend? The theater website has a list, but none sound intriguing. We are adventurous eaters.

There are tons and tons in the Penn Quarter. I can't think of anything that would be considered adventuruous. Rasika is good.

Any of these Jose Andres restaurants in Penn Quarter would be great choices all in the moderate price range: Jaleo, Oyamel, and Zaytinya. All are Spanish/Mediterranean tapas. Zengo is an odd mix of Asian and Latin which didn't sound good to me but was quite good.

I'd book at all of the above.

My daughter(then age 11) and I ate at Jaleo. She was a very picky eater, but loved the calamari and prawn tapas. Who'd a thought??? This was very handy to Ford's Theater.

If you are interested in good, but casual fare (with a Texas flair), then I would recommend Hill Country for BBQ or Austin Grill for Tex-Mex. Rosa Mexicano also serves Mexican food--not Tex-Mex--but their menu is a bit pricier. All of these restaurants are in Penn Quarter.
