The Cape Neddick Inn used to be wonderful; I assume it still is. You'll be just a few minutes from Ogunquit, and there are many good restaurants there including Hurricane, Oarweed (casual), Jackies II, Barnicle Billy's for lobster, and others (do a search on this site). Can't help you with Bath.

Researching a trip to S. Maine and found this cryptic advise:

One of the best restaurants in the country is in Ogunquit. Reservations a must. "Arrows"........for great food in a casual place, "hurricane" this place also had jazz brunches on Sundays but that day needs a reservation.
How would you read this? Is "Arrows" one of the best restaurants in the country? It doesn't sound like its "Hurricane." If this refers to one of the truly best, surely someone can name it.

Try J. R. Maxwell's, Bath, Maine. For lunch this past August, I had a "small" seafood salad that was really delicious, loaded with a lot of lobster, crab and other goodies. It was delicious and ample. (I wondered what the "LARGE" one would be like!) I recommend this place. (See their web site for location, etc.)
