I have a long layover in LAX and was wondering if anyone knew of a good restaurant near the airport, maybe Marinfa del Rey? or Venice. A nice restaurant in a nice area.

Try C&O Trattoria in MDR - it's a great place, reasonably priced...delicious food!! Hourly (?) sing-along ("That's Amore"). Fun

That's the first place that pops into my head but it really depends on what you're looking for...what cuisine? Price range?

Carrin: I couldn't tell how long "long" was, but the elevated "flying saucer" shaped restaurant right at the airport called "Encounters" is interesting I have not had dinner there, just lunch, but it is fun to watch the planes taking off and is obviously conveniently located.

Carrin. Here's a suggestion. Learn to use the search function on this site. You already asked this question and got a bunch of answers. If you aren't going to bother to look at the answers, why do you repost the same question over again? If you couldn't find it, all you had to do was enter Marina Del Rey or LAX restaurants into the search blank and you would have found your original plus some others. I only topped a couple for you, there are many more if you want to take the time to look.
