Restaurant Reviews
Awhile back I had used some internet site to read unbiased restaurant reviews by people who had dined at the restaurants. I cannot remember how to find that site.
I very interested in some unbiased reviews for some Baltimore MD restaurants -- going there on 9/11.
In particular I'm wondering about Pazo, DaMimmo's, Flemings Steakhouse.
We'll be staying at the Mariott Baltimore Harbor and want something convenient to that but fantastic food and service.
Please help -- particularly with the site.
Thanks to all,
Lois

Lois,
You might want to check www.opentable.com
They provide reviews, and you may also book reservations through them.
It's a great site.
Enjoy your trip !

Flemings is good and has a nice atmosphere, but it's a chain, so it's nothing unique. I used to live in Baltimore and the one restaurant I truly miss is Blue Agave, which is in Federal Hill. Very original and excellent Mexican cuisine (along the lines of Frontera Grill & Topolobampo, NOT Chi Chi's). I also miss Aldo's in Little Italy and Vacarro's, an amazing Italian dessert place also in Little Italy.

Live just outside Baltimore and have to agree wholeheartidly with Merrytravel. Another suggestion might be the Helmand...a well known Afghanistan restaurant...just make sure they do not hurry you through your meal..we usually order starters and then entrees later..but great food.

I knew it wouldn't let you search and post unless you register, but it won't even let you skim the forums? Well, if you find yourself wanting restaurant info once in a while, it's worth registering. It of course depends on your taste, but I find the reviews on egullet much more dependable than Chowhound.
